I posted a workout video yesterday and a friend asked why I wasn’t using a waist trainer to snatch all the fat to the pit of hell.
I told her that I haven’t seen a good vendor and that I am still saving for the waist trainer. I fibbed. I didn’t just want to engage in any debate about the efficacy of waist trainers and yada yada not.
Truth is that my village people are at work. The day I wanted to get a proper waist trainer to feel among the chosen ones was the day I saw this post below…online.
DANGERS OF WEARING A WAIST TRAINER!!
When you squeeze into a waist trainer, your stomach, lungs, liver, kidney and other organs are pushed into unnatural positions and may be too crowded to function well. It can also crack your ribs. Your digestive system is also affected giving you acid reflux (heartburn).
Your organs are also pushed upward, reducing lung capacity, depriving your body of oxygen and making breathing difficult. A restricted lymphatic system may also occur, so waste and toxins may not be properly removed from your body. A waist trainer can also put extreme pressure on nerves that run into the thighs.
Waist training is just another get – thin – quick scheme that only works temporarily for that dinner date or event. The risks outweighs the few hours of physical changes. You CANNOT achieve a permanent hourglass frame wearing a waist trainer but you can achieve a slimmer waistline with CONSISTENT exercise and calorie restrictive diets.
So what sayeth Abigael of the weightloss kingdom you ask?
If you tell some people that wearing of bra is not good for their body they will just agree without thinking twice. I have learnt to always do my own research to avoid being spoon fed.
Does waist training actually work – Yes it does.
How long do you have to wear a waist trainer to see results – 5 to 8 hours daily.
Is it safe to sleep with a waist trainer – NOOOOOO
Are the result of waist training permanent – The training results are semi-permanent and your body will generally fill out again once you stop. This doesn’t mean that waist training won’t have some effect on your body shape over time.
I generally think there is no harm in wearing a waist trainer except you are not wearing your size. Wearing it for extremely long hours in anticipation of magic can also be deadly.
It is best to let your intestine and vital organs breathe fresh air of freedom.
It should also be fine… if I don’t want to wear a waist trainer subject to when my research on safety is fully complete in the Holy Ghost.
I will use the money I earlier reserved for the waist trainer to give Covid-19 palliative to my constituency when I finally win an election in the future.

Don’t wear your mask on your chin or close to your neck so it can compete with the lines or dirt there. A face mask has a purpose to occupy a safe position above the nose to keep you safe.
